I’ve lived in Bundaberg since I was a child and currently live in Bargara 900m from the border of DIV-SIX in a unit my wife Donna & I are renovating.

My areas of expertise include Accounting and Auditing.  I’ve run a successful Accounting firm for more than thirty years with my Brother Scott.  I have served on the Bundaberg Regional Council Sport and Recreation advisory committee for 11 years.  I also served on the Audit & Risk Committee for six years, four as the Chairperson.  I have been a lifelong volunteer for various organisations.

My focus is on 2024-2028, setting the agenda for progress. In the next four years it is anticipated the population of DIV-SIX will increase exponentially but with growth comes challenges.  We must be prepared by delivering basic services, necessary infrastructure and transformative projects.

DIV-SIX needs a representative with the skillset to hold Council to account.  We need to work with all levels of government to achieve the best outcomes at a local level. We must focus on the core business of local government which starts with balancing the Council budget, delivering essential services and prioritising projects that set us up for the future.  With my expertise in accounting, auditing, chairing committees and running a successful business I believe I am the most qualified person to represent DIV-SIX and help take care of Council Business.
